Hi, Thanks. I've just tried to build with UBuntu 14.04, but it failed. Will try again later when I have some more time. In the mean time I still have my Android SD card and I just swap SD cards when I need Acestream

Can you upload build log somewhere? I suspect that dtc version is too old on your system.

Yup, it was an issue with dtc. But will try later. Maybe in a week or so. Till then I'll not have the time to tinker with Acestream. Hoped everything would work out "out of the box" and I could leave the PC building without spending too much time on it.

just a stupid questions ahead: Is it going to be easy to upgrade to newer kodi versions using this openelec fork when it stops being maintained?
I noticed online that openelec has automatic updates, are they for the OS, kodi, or just openelec builtin addons?
Why do you create a new openelec instead of porting kodi to the orange pi with scripts / build instructions?
It's easier for people to fix kodi by themselves instead of stuying a distro like openelec.

Nobody is forcing you to use OpenElec. Just use Android and use Kodi from Android. The beauty of Openelec is the low resource usage and that it's purely meant for Kodi and nothing else.

Is there a new version of Openelec coming soon to cover all the fine work that's occurred lately (I only find 3 in the opi pc folder) & is there any eta for when WiFi will be added?
Something else that Openelec needs or could use is, a "Wakeup Command", say when it's been powered down, and your ready to start it up again.
Maybe a keyboard command series like "Ctrl Enter". I should add I just bought another OPI PC, hope it shipps cuicker than the first one hint to steve.

Hi,

I build some tools (mc,strace, evtest, screen) for OPI from "Unofficial Openelec Addons repository" (unofficial.addon.pro)
https://github.com/gitchomik/OPI_Openelec.unofficial-addons.repo

If somebody want to use this "opi unofficial repository" download addon
https://github.com/gitchomik/OPI ... addon.pro-7.0.0.zip
and install using this method (http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_an_Add-on_from_a_zip_file)
It's also possible to install selected addon for example mc (https://github.com/gitchomik/OPI ... /tools.mc-7.0.0.zip)

Soon I will upload more addons.

Regards!
Orange PI PC

I enabled many usb wifi drivers as requested by popular vote, although I don't see this to be a good way for streaming. Can somebody please test different usb wifi cards?

Did you do this on the latest version? I've got a few dongles I can toss at it to test and report back on, but someone else will have to figure out which chip set they use.
